At the moment the global e-mobility market is facing rapid and dynamic transformation. The global need
and urgency to reduce CO2 emissions leads to various legal requirements and regulations. The automotive industry and their suppliers are constantly working on alternative drive systems for different applications and markets.
Until now it‘s unclear which technology will prevail. At Webasto, we are totally committed to reduce the carbon footprint and believe that the future is electric.

Together with experts in the e-mobility market we plan to discuss the major challenges for the mobility of the future and the transformation of technologies, vehicle manufactures and automotive suppliers.

Studied electrical engineering at the Otto von Guericke University in Magdeburg, Germany, after completing his electrical engineering education. He then worked as a project manager for Continental AG between 1999 and 2010, before joining the Association of the Automotive Industry e.V. (VDA) in 2010 as Senior Consultant in the Coordination Office of E-Mobility. Since 2014, he has also been Senior Manager Advanced Technology for networked and automated driving as well as electric mobility at the VDA.

Studied journalism and communication science in Berlin, Germany. After working for a local newspaper, in the PR department of a social enterprise and as editor and media observer, he co-founded the industry service electrive.net and the associated Rabbit Publishing GmbH in 2011. Since then, electrive.net has evolved to the biggest specialist medium for electric mobility in the German speaking area. Since late 2020, Peter Schwierz is supporting the NGO GermanZero as board member with the development of a 1.5°C legislative package and climate-protection measures for Germany.

Studied Business Administration at the Cooperative State University Karlsruhe, Germany, worked for an automotive supplier of electrical heating systems and moved to Shanghai, China, in 2012, where she was responsible as General Manager for the build- up of the China business. In 2016 Christin-Marie moved back to Munich, Germany, to work as a Key Account Manager at Samsung SDI, responsible for Cell and Cell modules. In 2017 she joined Webasto to support the battery activities with her expertise, responsible for Business Development in Europe and acquired the first battery project for Webasto from a large OEM. Since April 2021 she is responsible for Global Business Development of the business unit Battery Systems and continuously working to develop new business opportunities.

Holding a PhD in Management, a Diploma in Economics and a Diploma in Business Administration, Johann built solid expertise in using methods and tools as Junior Consultant in the Automotive sector and as Researcher for Innovation and Technology Management. In his next function Johann was in charge for co-evolution and implementation of the Electric Mobility Strategy for the Free state of Bavaria. Therefore, he also headed the 130m€ multi-project of German Government “Showcase Electric Mobility Bavaria-Saxony” to contribute to the market preparation on federal level and led benchmark roll-out projects (incl. new business models) and consortia on EU level. Since 2019 Johann took on the role as responsible Manager for the Global Electric Mobility Strategy at Webasto Battery Systems.
